It's a Boy

Princess:
Oh, I've been gifted by the god of the Nile!
I want a dog, I got a boy,
But maybe he'll amuse me a while.
I can dress him up and make him look good,
Train him well and groom him
And do all the things a good owner should.

It's a boy, oh boy!
Now I've got a boy!
It's a boy, oh boy!
Now I've got a boy!
It's a boy, oh boy!
Now I've got a boy!
It's... a... boy! Oy!

Servant:
The reeds are swaying in the watery blue
And a smile grows on the princess's face.
She's found another pet to add to her zoo,
Her opacity is such a disgrace.

She's the most fickle woman I've ever known
Meanwhile, I'd die to have a child of my own
Guess that I'm destined to live all alone.

My one desire, all I've wanted for years,
I am so overwhelmed with joy.
I can hardly tell his gender through these tears,
But I think this water-baby's a boy!

Hush baby, baby, finally someone is near.
The god of motherhood has made my future clear
I want to shout to that the world can hear.
